Energy Rating

Energy rating is the process of examination, measurement and calculation (use of a computer essential in practice) of a property, to outline its thermal losses and heating system efficiencies.

An energy rating may be used to issue a label - a label just means an agreed way of presenting the findings of the rating .

For Ireland, the format of the label is decided and controlled by government.
